Hi! I'm a kiwi grad student studying in the US. I'm training to become an archaeologist, focusing on indigenous political economies.

The name of this site is a reference to the Pūkeko, a lovely little bird who acts as a gardener for native swamps, and also to the name of the indigenous people on whose lands I study.
